Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Our research group have studied on multirotor UAVs for manpulation tasks at high elevation place. In an aerial manipulation, which physically touches an object while flying, low latency and real-time processing are required to detect and track the object. In most cases, a CPU-based vision system is used for that, but it is thought that the processing speed can be increased by using an FPGA. In this paper, I would like to introduce our recent work on aerial robots for manipualtion tasks and their problems, and describe the expectations for the use of reconfigurable systems in aerial robot systems. |
