Abstract(in English) | In this report, we propose a high-speed reception gain control method for a real-time delay profile analysis using a synchronization signal of a VHF band broadband mobile communication (VHF-BB) system and report the results of experiments. In recent years, location information provided by the GNSS has been used in various fields; however, measurement errors due to multipath propagation or jamming disturbances have been a serious problem. Thus, a method of estimating the vehicle location by using the VHF-BB system instead of the GNSS and analyzing the delay profile of the radio wave has been studied. In order to improve the accuracy of the location estimation, it is important to respond to the delay profile analysis, and it is necessary to capture the synchronization signal to be analyzed reliably and to shorten the acquisition time. Therefore, as a new fast reception gain control method, we propose a method to control the receive gain by repeatedly calculating the reception power and setting the reception gain within the Cyclic Prefix (CP) section of the OFDM symbol, and adjusting the reception gain to the optimum value according to the received input power. We confirmed that the proper delay profile could be obtained appropriately in various environments by the indoor experiments. |
