| Abstract(in English) | The four technical committees (TCs) of Systems and Signal Processing sub-society, i.e., TCs of Circuits and Systems (CAS), VLSI Design Technologies (VLD), Signal Processing (SIP), and Mathematical Systems Science and its applications (MSS), have been holding joint research meetings since 2010. In order to enhance the significance of the Joint Study Group, a panel discussion is held with the sub-society chair as moderator and the representatives of each TC as panelists. In this panel discussion, we will share information and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of online video conferencing, which is becoming more and more popular due to the prevention of the spread of new corona virus infection (COVID-19), from the perspectives of academic conferences, research, education, and business. We will discuss successes and failures, expectations and disappointments, topics unique to each field, and the use of future online conferences. |
