Abstract(in English) | Gait identification and authentication are performed using recurrent neural networks and LSTM (Long Short-Term Memory) for 3-axis acceleration during walking obtained with a smartphone. First, the acceleration on walking for 21 subjects is recorded in two holding situations with the smartphone in the pocket or while looking at the screen. The acceleration is directly input to the LSTM to learn and perform identification and authentication. It was confirmed that the identification using LSTM has better performance than the conventional method of extracting features. |
