Abstract(in English) | Learners of a foreign language who practice Extensive Reading (ER) will show various patterns in learning behavior. In this paper we investigate reading logs which track progress of ER readers and their behavioral patterns. Learners keep records of books read in English including titles, number of books, running word counts and their impressions. Through quantitative and qualitative analyses, we draw conclusions about the intrinsic behavior patterns in their reading. Learners illustrates essential features of learning behavior to reach higher level of reading fluency. |
