Abstract(in English) | Recently, thanks to the evolution of image processing technologies, practical application of Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Mixed Reality (MR) is widely spreading. In this paper, we study relationship between Quality of Experience (QoE) and end-to-end latency for the AR/VR/MR application. We implement a prototype cloud-based AR application on HoloLens and evaluate latency characteristics of the prototype by generating various communication delays. In addition, we evaluate QoE performance for the application by referring to image media subjective quality assessment technologies. |
