Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Frequency estimation of sine wave signals has been studied in a wide range of fields. One of the methods is to use instantaneous frequency. In this method, a complex signal called an analysis signal is generated using a Hilbert transformer, and the instantaneous frequency is obtained by differentiating the instantaneous phase of this analysis signal with respect to time. However, since the Hilbert transformer designed with a finite order has ripple as an approximation error, the estimated instantaneous frequency contains an oscillatory component in addition to the true frequency. This error can be suppressed by increasing the order of the Hilbert transducer, but the increase in the order results in an increase in the delay for obtaining the instantaneous frequency. In this paper, the vibration component of the instantaneous frequency component generated by the finite order Hilbert transformer is clarified. Then, it is shown that the instantaneous frequency can be estimated with high accuracy by removing the vibration component using a variable FIR filter with a transmission zeros.
