Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The software service design using the many microservices is becoming a trend. The microservices that consist a service are related to each other and increase or change as the service grows. On the other hand, the service is increasingly being built across different environments, such as hybrids and multi-clouds. In such a microservice architecture and environment, as microservices are added or changed repeatedly, the service become increasingly intertwined in a complex manner, and a part of the microservices are constructed on a different distant host, which may cause a delay. For app developers, the fault caused by moving parts of a microservice to a physically remote location is difficult to isolate because the logical structure of the service remains the same. Therefore, we have developed a technique to simultaneously visualize the service invocation relationship and the configuration from the service (Container) to the physical infrastructure and to calculate the difference between the changed configurations. Even when a failure occurs due to a configuration change of a large number of complicated and intertwined services, by detecting the configuration difference before and after the occurrence of the failure, it is possible to specify whether the cause of the failure is a configuration change and where it occurs, and the cause can be easily estimated.
