Abstract(in English) | To realize rapid network integrations, intent-based networking (IBN), which automatically constructs a network satisfying a user's intent, is attracting attention. In order to cope with a wide variety of intents and network configurations, we propose an IBN system that designs and constructs a network in two steps: (1) designing a logical network satisfying the user's intents and (2) determining configurations for the network based on the logical design result and current network information. This paper explains the scalable configuration determining method, that is the second step in IBN system. We evaluate proposed configuration determining method through two sample networks which has 900 and 10,000 nodes, respectively. Through evaluation, we confirmed that proposed method can determine nearly optimum configuration based on the logical design result with less than on-tenth calculation time compared to the conventional method. |
