Abstract(in English) In the fifth generation mobile communication system (5G), the use of small cells in the super high frequency (SHF) band close to the millimeter wave is being studied. Since it is difficult to expand the area using only a conventional homogeneous network, heterogeneous network configuration has been widely investigated. On the other hand, local 5G has been studied in Japan to make use of the advanced 5G technologies for a private network. When operating without the assistance of cost-sensitive macro-cells in the private network, connection delay imposes serious problems such as reduced service time or even loss of service for high-speed mobile users compared to stationary or low-speed mobile users. Therefore, the authors have proposed a virtual pre-connection scheme to greatly reduce the connection delay without the assistance of macro-cells. In this study, we construct a private linear cell along the railway and perform a demonstration experiment of the proposed scheme for reducing the connection delay to the linear cell by using a train. As a result, connection delay is effectively reduced equivalent to the previous study.
