Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To realize rapid and flexible network construction and operation management towards digital transformation era, intent-based networking (IBN), which can directly reflect in network design and setting satisfying a business user's intent, is attracting attention. Implementing IBN requires a mechanism that bridges the gap between user intent and physical network setting. In this exhibition, a network construction and operation management function using a function-oriented network model are implemented. The function-oriented network model derives necessary network functions that satisfy the user intent, and manages the derived functions in association with physical network functions. This model contains intents, network functions, network configurations and their relations to connect them. By using this model, it is possible to reflect the user's intent on the network settings and maintain the derivation process up to the network settings. As the result, network functions or a user intent affected by the failure can be quickly specified when a network failure or the like occurs. In this exhibition, a function-oriented network model is implemented in an IoT network orchestrator that automatically constructs and manages a network between IoT devices and IoT services. Also, changes the IoT network according to multiple user intents are shown.
