Abstract(in English) Magneto-optical (MO) imaging has attracted attention as a high-resolution nondestructive inspection method for steel materials. A magnetic thin film for MO imaging for the curved surface was deposited. In previous work, the light transmittance was not obtained required for MO imaging sufficiently. Therefore, in this study, we changed the material to YAG and obtained the transmittance. Fabricated film is not a continuous film but a dispersion film. The film changed from Bi:YIG to YAG have light transmittance enough for MO imaging.
