Abstract(in English) | A lipid bilayer is the basic structure of a cell membrane that partitions cells one by one. Because inside of the lipid bilayer membrane is hydrophobic, it is possible to embed hydrophobic nanomaterials into the membrane. In this study, we fabricated a graphene-mixed free-standing lipid bilayer using a folding method, and measured the photocurrent by irradiating red or green laser on the membrane. The current shift amount Ishift was defined based on the current difference between light irradiation and non-irradiation, and the current shift amount was compared between the graphene-mixed membrane and the non-mixed membrane. As a result, a finite current shift due to light irradiations were confirmed for both the graphene-mixed membrane and the non-mixed membrane. Besides, it was confirmed that the current shift amount was increased in the graphene-mixed membrane compared with the non-mixed membrane. |
