Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we developed a state recognition system in a bus car that applied the object detection algorithm YOLO to support the bus operation ensuring passenger safety. The proposed system recognizes the number of passengers, the seating state, and the presence or absence of large luggage. In addition, in order to alert the passengers moving while traveling, it is determined whether the bus is in a good condition to start using the recognition result. The validity of the system was confirmed by the simulation environment inside the bus and the data acquired inside the bus actually running.
