Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have evaluated the conditions in terms of the number of TCP connections to obtain the highest total throughput on an IEEE 802.11g network. In our evaluation, the direction of data flow and TCP versions, CUBIC, Compound, and NewReno are taken into account. However, intermittent data transfers, which are typically observed on requests and their responses of HTTP for Web accesses, have been out of scope. In this report, we evaluate and discuss the number of intermittent parallel sessions to maximize the total throughput in a wireless LAN.
