Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) An experiment was conducted on a DC electromagnetic contactor with a structure in which the arc was blown out by the magnetic flux of a permanent magnet. The power supply voltage was set to 50,100,200V. The current varied from 1 to 30A. The experiment was performed 10 times each condition for with and without the magnet. The breaking arc duration, closing bounce time, bounce arc duration, and arc energy were measured. The effect of the presence or absence of a magnet on these values was studied. As a result, at the time of making, the influence of the presence or absence of the magnet on the arc duration time was not observed. However, at the time of separation, the influence of the magnet became remarkable as the voltage and current increased
