Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The radio on fiber (RoF) technology has been studied and developed since a long time ago. It is mainly employed for compensating radio dead zone of mobile communication and broadcasting systems. Meanwhile, it is reported that the RoF is able to apply to mobile fronthaul in the 5th generation mobile communication system when RoF links configure radio access network for aggregating multiple cell site to one control station. This talk shows how to design a communication link using the RoF components and some example of numerical evaluation.
