| Abstract(in English) | It is important to back up data regularly to ensure data availability. When performing a backup, the system may be destroyed due to damage and high costs may be required for the repair. On the other hand, performing backup the destroy of the system may need small cost. It is necessary to establish a backup method that appropriately models the relationship of damages and costs. The safety of the system against damage can be analyzed stochastically by appropriately modeling the damage as a stochastic process, and one can find a backup scheme with the minimum cost through the analysis. Shey-Huei Sheu et. al analyze a damage model considering a typical cumulative damage model in which damage occurs according to the inhomogeneous Poisson process and also by considering analyze two types of damages and analyze the damage model. In this paper, we introduce served additional mechanisms like incremental backup to the study of Shey-Huei Sheu et al,and analyze a revised backup model. |
