| Abstract(in English) | In this report, we clarify the physical functions related to apathy via Doppler radar measurements of activities of daily living (ADLs) such as walking, standing up, and sitting down. We statistically analyze the associations between kinematic parameters in ADLs measured by the radar and apathy scale of elderly people. We found that the significant relationship between standing-up/sitting-down and apathy-related decline of the physical functions. Furthermore, we evaluated the screening capability of the apathetic elderly adults using the logistic regression model constructed using the extracted kinematic parameters. |
