Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Many of the recent students are doing “learning while listening to music.” Such learning methods have both advantages and disadvantages. Such learning methods may have both advantages and disadvantages. The advantage is that the learner can learn without worrying about the surrounding noise. On the other hand, there is a concern that the distraction of music may reduce the efficiency of learning. In most of the previous researches, effects were measured based on the results of simple calculation problems and memory problems, and the results of questionnaires, such as which one was able to focus on actually learning. In this paper, instead of measuring results and questionnaires, we measured the real-time concentration of learning while listening to music with a wearable device. We investigated the relationship between the habits and the effects on the concentration of it. The results showed that there was no relationship between individuals in the group with listening habits and that there was no relationship. However, in the group without listening habits, it was found that working while listening to music became more concentrated. Similarly, the ratio of the deeper concentration among the concentration states was similar.
