| 抄録(和) | 人のような高度な人工知能(AI)を設計するには、脳のような形で想像力を発揮するシステムを設計する必要がある。意識研究の一部に位置づけられる形で、主に新規イメージを推論する機能やそれを担う脳領域に関わる研究が進展している。しかし想像力をもつ人工システムを設計するには、推論以外の機能を担う周辺アーキテクチャの設計も必要である。本稿ではまず、高度なAIに必須の能力としての想像力を新たに定義した。次にその想像力を実現するための機能的な要件を定義し、さらに要件を満たすための機能を明らかにした。なおここで分散メモリとみなされる新皮質の生物学的な性質も考慮すると、分散メモリ中で想像に用いる範囲を動的に分離設定する機能が必須となることを議論した。 |
| 抄録(英) | To design human-level artificial intelligence (HLAI), it is necessary to design a system that exerts imagination like a brain. As a part of consciousness research, research related to the function of imagination and the brain region responsible for them has been progressing. However, the design of a peripheral architecture that performs functions other than inference, are also necessary. In this article, first defines imagination as an essential capability for HLAI. Next, we defined the functional requirements for realizing that imagination and clarified the functions that fulfill the requirements. By considering the biological properties of the neocortex, which is regarded as a distributed memory, it was discussed that a function of dynamically separating the area used for imagination in the distributed memory is necessary. |
