Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Less exploratory behaviors are seen in many psychiatric diseases. In our research, healthy subjects completed a behavioral task and filled in questionnaires that measured symptoms of various mental health conditions. By the use of computational model-based analysis, we investigated how much different inverse temperature and learning rate parameters in some psychiatric diseases and considered the roles of each parameter. Fitted one of the reinforcement learning models to actual experimental data, we found that the inverse temperature parameter is correlated with obsessive compulsivity disease and impulsivity both of which are including compulsivity symptoms. In addition, it is indicated that the learning rate is associated with a symptom dimension comprising rumination.
