Abstract(in English) | Currently, different types of sensors are used as proximity sensors, depending on the application. For example, toilets use infrared sensors and prevent collisions with cars use radar systems. We are developing a new proximity sensing technology that detects changes in spatial impedance using radio waves. This new method has features different from those of the existing method, and can be detected even in material or environmental condition that was difficult to identify with the conventional technology, and can be realized with a simple circuit and configuration. This article gives an overview of this research and development and outlines, basic experiments, and analysis by electromagnetic field analysis. |
