Abstract(in English) | Continuing growth of mobile communications does not stop and is going beyond 5G to 6G. Wireless technologies cast light to the ends of world and link them together, becoming a part of the society itself, more than a communication infrastructure. Wireless circuits including modulator /demodulator and signal processing technologies play important role in the realization of wireless systems for communication, radar, sensor, tag and IoT control. Reflecting to the past, wireless circuit reminded us of analog circuits. Now most of them are taken over by signal processing circuits in digital domain, which has happened following the enhancement of system function. Nevertheless, current trends of using higher frequency bands such as mm-waves and wider RF bandwidth beyond 1 GHz again remind us that the characteristics of analog circuits limit the system performances. This talk looks back to the speaker’s experiences on wireless circuits and signal processing technologies including recent technical developments such as reconfigurable RF circuits, nonlinear compensation techniques and communication-radar integration, then considers issues for the future. |
