Implementation of Programming Environment based on Cloud IDE with Eclipse Che and Docker

Abstract(in English) In recent years,``Edutainment'' has attracted attention.Edutainment approaches to obtain learning effects through game play are common in primary education, however, few in higher education. The final purpose of this research is to examine the learning effect by using an edutainment approach in programming education in higher education.Therefore, we implement an online software integrated development environment for large numbers of people using Docker and Eclipse Che.A mechanism allowing Git to record and collect user change histories is built in the system. As an introductory preliminary experiment, the environment was introduced in a class at Shinshu University, and the students performed programming exercises using the environment. As a result of the experiment, it was confirmed that the change history of the students could be recorded and collected.
