Abstract(in English) | Computer simulation of visual mathematical model enables projection whether particular visual images cause illusion or not. However, its computation for a variety of input images takes a long simulation time. To solve the problem, we firstly speed up the computation of a visual mathematical model program by using a GPU-enhanced PC cluster. Next, we propose a new visual mathematical model which supports multiple time-sequential images in order to expand search space for visual illusion. Parameter fitting is required for the proposed model, hence we decide the parameters based on a psychophysical experiment by persons. Finally, we generate comprehensive patters of combination for three time-sequential images in $8^8 = 16,777,216$ ways, and perform numerical simulation of the proposed model for the generated input images. Based on comparison between the results of numerical simulation and psychophysical experiment, we show that the proposed model adequately projects human's visual perception. |
