A Piano Voicing Generation Method Based on the User's Preference Using Interactive Genetic Algorithm

Abstract(in English) Voicing is how to select notes to play when playing a chord. In some genres of music, especially jazz, voicing is one of the characteristics of the player, therefore voicing generation based on user's preference is useful as a support system for the learners. In this study, we proposed a piano voicing generation method based on the user's preference. In the proposed method, we use the interactive genetic algorithm that use human evaluation to search the suited voicing based on user's preference.
