Wireless Power Transfer in Robot

Abstract(in English) At present, wireless power transfer is getting more attention, and various researches are being conducted. Few of them are available to the public however they are only used for very short distances. In this study, we discuss the effectiveness of electric power transfer in the robot body using radio wave. We constructed a wireless power transmission system including a rectenna. Next we confirmed that the radio wave transmission characteristics between the antennas could be improved in assumed robot body through simulations and experiments. Further, we proved that the transmission efficiency is improved by using WPT system and 3D printed robot body.
