Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Wireless Power Transmission (WPT) is one of the significant technologies towards Solar Power Satellite (SPS). Software Retrodirective method, consisting direction finding and beam forming is proposed for performing WPT. Tethered SPS has power generation and transmission panel to transmit 1 GW power. Required accuracy of WPT is 0.0005 degrees with 10% control error for Tethered SPS. Due to space environment, there is a concern of antenna deformation which will affect accuracy of WPT. We performed basic experiment for antenna deformation with using antenna arrays. Deformation of 7 mm to 28 mm was inserted in one antenna of array with considering 500 cm and 100 cm baselines. Effect of the deformation was analyzed for direction of arrival error. Evaluation of radiation Pattern was also done for dipole array to determine effect of deformation.
