Evaluation of Content Selection Method based-on Priority for Disaster Information-Sharing System

Abstract(in English) We have proposed a disaster information sharing system for sharing information between evacuation centers during wide-area disasters. The proposed system constructs a DTN network using passive storage devices as communication media. We have also proposed a content selection method based on priority for efficient information diffusion on this system. However, evaluations in various environments with different numbers of nodes and node arrangements, and verification of the effectiveness of the proposed method for some comparison methods were insufficient. Therefore, in this paper, we analyze the effectiveness of the proposed method in several different environments using networks that reflecting arrangement of some evacuation centers in relatively recent large-scale disaster areas and methods comparable to Epidemic Routing and Spray and Wait.
