Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The Diagnosis of arteriosclerosis in fundus based on the blood vessels shapes such as dents and distortions. For automation of this diagnosis, we classify blood vessel shape by using SOM. However, the position and angle of the blood vessel are not constant. As a result, the classification results is influenced by these. In this paper, we consider the standardization method to arrange vein position, angle, and size. The propose method provides better classification focused on shape compared to the conventional method with unstandardized data.
