Implementation and evaluation of language learning support module applying speech recognition

Abstract(in English) The development of speech recognition and speech synthesis technology has been remarkable due to the development of deep learning. Computers convert speech to text data, and vice versa, which is comparable to listening and speaking by humans. In this paper, we developed a Chinese learning support module implemented in the Moodle system using the latest speech recognition and speech synthesis technology. And we operated and collected data in actual lectures. We report the usefulness of the abovementioned technology in the field of language education from the collected data.
