Abstract(in English) | Aiming at realizing sensing of the surrounding environment for smart homes/smart buildings, device-freelocalization methods using multi-path propagation have gained interest. To realize such methods the accurate en-vironmental information should be obtained in advance. In this study the environment imaging method usingmillimeter-wave (mm-wave) ratio such as WiGig and 5G mobile communications was developed. In more detail, the anchor nodes estimate the virtual anchor positions by imaging the surrounding large objects like walls whilea device node as an agent is moving around the target area. Specifically, a multi-dimensional Kirchoff Migration(KM) method that improves the performance by utilizing the high-resolution of mmwave systems such as high delaytime and angular resolution was developed. The principle was verified and the performance was evaluated by raytracing simulation. |
