Virtual Network Control Method and Effect Verification Considering Electricity Unit Price and Centrality

Abstract(in English) With the increase of communication traffic, the service provisioning cost of telecommunication carriers is increasing. In recent years, however, virtual networks have begun to spread and flexible network control is expected to reduce network operation costs. In this paper, we formulate a problem to control the virtual network so that the electric bill is minimized under the situation where the electricity unit price differs in each area. In addition, a heuristic search method considering electricity unit price and physical network topology for solving this problem in a realistic time is proposed, and the simulation shows that a result comparable to the ideal solution can be obtained in a short time.
