Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In future targeted attacks, malware programs infected in routers may cause various problems. Thus, we have proposed a scheme to switch virtualized routers periodically. By way of periodical router initializing, malware programs can be removed even if they are difficult to detect. However, the inheritance of dynamically changing route information is an important problem. In the simple scheme, malicious routes generated by a malware program may be simply inherited to a new router. Consequently, this paper proposes a scheme to separate the routing function from the virtual router that is forwarding data. Owing to this functional separation, routes can be controlled without the influence of malware programs. As a result, an infected malware program and its malicious routes can be removed when the router is replaced into a new initialized router.
