e-Learning System for Programming Exercise

Abstract(in English) We develop an e-learning system that supports programming exercise on the Web. In class, the rate of progression varies among individuals. Therefore, the environment of self-study is necessary for the student who falls behind in the progress. While teachers need to supervise and manage students at short times, doing so would increase more work for the teacher. Our system assists the exercise for students after-school-hours and reduces the work for teachers. At any time, students can read the problems of reports and upload them on the Web. Furthermore, the teacher can review, assess, and write comments on the report. In this paper, we describe the specification and show an implementation of this e-learning system.
