| Abstract(in English) | To conduct the field experiments of MANET-based system, many mobile devices are required. In order to conduct the field experiments at low costs, and we combine the mobile device and the simulator. This paper proposes an evaluation framework combining a simulator and mobile devices for supporting the development of the MANET-based system. The framework consists of simulator, mobile application, visualizing software and controller. As the simulator, the framework uses the simulator of evacuation route guidance in MANET-based system. All users in the simulator exchange message among them by MANET and then, calculate an evacuation route based on the received messages. One linked user who is selected from all users in the simulator forwards the received message in the simulator to the mobile application. The mobile application calculates the evacuation route based on the forwarded messages. The user who uses the mobile application moves based on the evacuation route calculated by the mobile device. The user mobile application sends its own movement information to the linked user in the simulator. The movement of the user with the mobile application can be simulated by handling the movement information of the linked user. The evaluation framework is evaluated by the experiments. |
