| Abstract(in English) | In this research, we aimed to investigate whether manipulating audiences' construal level can make them interested in watching a one-sided tennis match. In the experiment, the participants' construal level was manipulated in two ways by association tasks. Then, they immediately watched a video of a tennis match out of two different patterns and were asked to indicate how excited they were at watching the match. As a result, there was a significant interaction between construal level and predictability of the winner in the match on the evaluated excitement. |
