Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper propose a method to reduce the processing load by applying the virtual node allocation algorithm for distributed key-value stores to Apache Cassandra, one of the OSS KVSs. The calculated virtual node ID (VID) is used in the configuration file. The VID is used among the subnet addresses in each routing table of the query transfer network switches, and the IP address of the right next node is used as the gateway. The upper bits of the query key hash value are set in the destination IP address. Since each query is sent directly to the node in charge of the data, the transfer processing between nodes is reduced.
