Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this study, we examined microwave power transmission system for an inspection robot in a gas pipe. We designed a transmitting antenna and receiving antenna that can be attached to the robot. With theoretical analysis and electromagnetic simulation, we found that TE$_{01}$ mode is suitable propagation mode for the system. Attenuation rate of TE$_{01}$ mode was calculated from experimental data. We conducted experiments using the antennas we designed, and we achieved 48,% transmission efficiency.
