Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, a microservice architecture has been widely adopted by service providers. Microservices provide various functions to customers by dividing services into small components, providing interfaces to each component, and communicating with each other and operating in a chain. To track complex processing of microservices, a distributed tracing has been used by service developers and maintainers. A distributed tracing clarifies a processing flow by propagating a unique identifier to an end-user’s request within microservices. Although current software for a distributed tracing has a function of displaying a broad service dependency graph on service traces, there are hidden service dependencies that are not explicitly included in service traces. In this paper, we propose a method for estimating hidden service dependencies and constructing a service graph based on Petri net that represents the entire service.
