Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | In emergency care interaction, a team leader collaborates with his members to safely perform medical procedures. This project has been investigating joint actions in a trauma team, focusing on the leader’s verbal and non-verbal behaviours, especially his eye gaze in simulation sessions, with an eye-tracker. This is an interdisciplinary research project, which involves health care professionals, linguists and an information engineer. This presentation reports a multimodal analysis method, which has been developed and applied to the analysis, where the leader’s fixations are classified into three types: fixation on a person (FOP), on information (FOI) and on equipment (FOE). A data conversion programme from iMotions to ELAN was developed for the analysis, and a GUI to automatically identify FOP is under development. |
