Acceleration Techniques for Chirp Z-Transform using AI-accelerator

Abstract(in English) When integrating a received signal of a frequency division MIMO (Multi input Multi output) radar, an integration loss occurs due to the influence of Doppler and range walk generated in a reflected wave from a moving target. As a method for suppressing these effects, there is a coherent integration method using CZT (Chirp Z-Transform). However, this method requires high computing power owing to repeatedly execute CZT. In this paper, we propose acceleration techniques for Chirp Z-Transform using AI accelerator. As a result of evaluating these acceleration techniques, we found that our implementation using AI accelerator is up to 14 times faster than that using 16-core CPU.
