| Abstract(in English) | CREST ASTRA Japan is developing its first visible-light communication satellite “Cubit,” scheduled to be launched and deployed in 2021. The high-gain LED technology in under development for satellite applications to use for night events, games, emergency situations, or even advertisements. The 1U-CubeSat will demonstrate the light-conversing technology so that the light is visible for human eyes at approximately the third magnitude stars’ brightness. |
