Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The annual cost of wildlife damage to agriculture is very high in Japan. One of the Fed4IoT services, wildlife monitoring, aims to decrease the damage caused by wildlife to agriculture in the Hakusan area. However, the devices available in the market are unable to detect animal motion. Therefore, we developed a target counter with direction tracking to address this problem. During its application, this device will be used in conjunction with a software to protect people from wildlife and decrease the cost of wildlife damage.
