Abstract(in English) | Physical layer security has attracted much attention recently because it enhances the confidentiality of a secret message in wireless communications. Cooperative jamming is one of the techniques to realize the physical layer security. In a cooperative jamming system, a wireless terminal other than the transmitter and the receiver emits a jamming signal to degrade the quality of the transmitted signal, which prevents an eavesdropper from decoding the transmitted message. In an existing research, it is assumed that inactive mobile terminals that are not currently receiving or transmitting signals become cooperative jammers. However, we cannot expect there always exists a mobile terminal near an eavesdropper. This implies that we can not guarantee that the transmitted signal is corrupted by a jamming signal. In this paper, we propose a cooperative jamming system in which a mobile phone carrier deploy jamming terminals. We examine how many jamming terminals and how much power of the jamming signals are required by the proposed system. |
