| Abstract(in English) | As a kind of mode-division multiplexing, a method using exact eigen-modes in few mode optical fiber for transmission channels has been proposed. When using exact eigen-modes, generating them is necessary. However it is difficult to generate them directly from laser diode. In this study, we designed, fabricated and successfully demonstrated an optical element that generates exact eigen-modes from a linearly polarized mode by using auto-cloning photonic crystal. |
