Simulation and analysis of peer-to-peer electricity trading in the Ethereum Blockchain

抄録(和) This paper discusses the peer-to-peer electricity trading in the Ethereum Blockchain. Considering the increase of households which produce electricity through Photovoltaic, there is potential to decrease transmission loss when surplus electricity is traded between these households. By introducing the peer-to-peer trading, consumers will obtain the right to choose which electricity is produced. To ensure the secure trading and record the money exchange, blockchain will be an appropriate means as a platform. Still, economic and environmental effects of peer-to-peer trading are unclear, so peer-to-peer electricity trading has not been enacted in many regions. the peer Therefore, simulation of the peer-to-peer electricity trading is necessary. Despite some previous works about peer-to-peer electricity trading, they have not included the specific effect on transmission loss. In this simulation, variable of electricity price refers amount of electricity including transmission loss so effect of peer-to-peer trading can be evaluated more accurately.
