Abstract(in English) | Based on mobile elements such as sink and/or relay, we aim at theoretical unification of data transmission in wireless sensor network WSN. In this report, we deal with the former termed as mWSNs. For implicit fruitful properties expected, we restrict the structure of network to grid topology which models for mobile sinks to explore their assigned areas. That is, each mobile sink explores its assigned area in order to collect sensed data along designated trajectory beforehand. As such sink trajectory, in the report, 8 types of Hamilton paths and cycles are adopted. There we consider eccentricity-related in-tree indicating data transmission way, for which we have implemented our own code. In our proposal, each node randomly selects time slots to send data during its designated time period. In order to evaluate data throughput, we calculate packet delivery rate PDR throughout the paper. First, we report the relation between time slot periods and PDRs. Next, we compare PDRs in the situation that areas are possibly divided into two. Then we combine trajectories so as to explore areas simultaneously. As a result, more time slots are necessary to achieve larger PDR and dividing into two is effective for smaller time slots case. |
