Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In Hiroshima, human damage caused by landslides is a serious problem. It is important to evacuate residents early in order to reduce the human damage. In this study, we investigated the propagation loss distance characteristics of 920MHz band radio waves in mountainous region based on actual measurements with the aim of constructing a sensing network to support the evacuation of residents at an early stage. As a result of the investigation of the propagation loss distance characteristics, it was found from the measured data that the propagation loss increased along the valley and in the mountainous area region with trees compared to the two-ray model due to reflection and shadowing. Also, when the height of the transmitting and receiving antenna is 1m, it was confirmed that the radio wave reaching range was about 100m.
